Self-Exclusion and Account Limits

Stopping or slowing down is easier when the decision is made in advance and built into your account. This guide covers the tools in order of strength: limits you set yourself, a short time-out or cooling-off period, self-exclusion with a single operator, and PAGCOR's Self Exclusion and Family Exclusion, which reach every PAGCOR-licensed site at once. If you are reading this because things already feel out of control, you can also call the National Problem Gambling Helpline on (02) 8248-9568 — free, confidential and 24/7.

How to set a deposit limit

A deposit limit caps how much can go into your account per day, week or month. Set it in the account settings — usually under "Responsible gaming", "Limits" or "Account", often with a button labelled "Set deposit limit" — or ask support to set it for you. Choose an amount you could lose without it affecting bills, food or family commitments, and pick the period that matches how you get paid. Lowering a limit normally applies straight away; raising one usually takes effect only after a waiting period, which is the point. A loss limit works the same way on net losses, and a wager limit caps total bets.

Session limits, reality checks and time-outs

A session limit ends play after a set time; a reality check interrupts it with a reminder of how long you have played and your net result. Both break the "one more round" loop. If you want a pause rather than a cap, a timeout — sometimes called cooling off, or a cooling off period — locks the account for a period you choose, typically from a day to several weeks. You cannot shorten it once it has started, so it works even on a bad evening. To take a break at Bigbunny, look for these options in the account settings or ask support which are available for your account.

How to self-exclude with the operator

Self-exclusion with an operator closes your account for a long period — months or years — or permanently. During that time you cannot log in to play, and the operator should stop sending you marketing. Ask for it in writing through the account settings or support, and ask for any remaining balance to be paid out. Do not open a new account during the period; operators treat it as a breach, and it defeats the purpose. If you hold accounts at several sites, close each one.

PAGCOR Self Exclusion

PAGCOR's program covers all PAGCOR-licensed and PAGCOR-operated gaming sites, on-site and online. You choose 6 months, 1 year or 5 years. The first six months are irrevocable, and the order lifts automatically at the end of the chosen period. To apply, you need the application form, a photocopy of a government-issued photo ID and two 2x2 photos, sent by e-mail or placed in the drop box at PAGCOR's MET Live Building; PAGCOR also runs an Online Self-Exclusion Application portal. Your name is then entered in the National Database of Restricted Persons (NDRP). The current forms and instructions are on PAGCOR's player exclusion page.

Family Exclusion

When the person gambling cannot or will not apply, a spouse, child or parent can request Family Exclusion for 6 months, 1 year or 3 years, with the same kind of supporting documents. It is a serious step and works best alongside a conversation, ideally with support: the NPGH also advises family members on how to help without taking on the debt or the secrecy.

Where the NDRP stops

The NDRP binds sites that PAGCOR licenses or operates. A site that is not on PAGCOR's list of accredited Gaming System Administrators and registered domains is not bound by it, and we cannot confirm that Bigbunny is on that list. If you are excluding yourself, combine PAGCOR's program with the operator's own self-exclusion at every site where you have an account, and remove saved card and e-wallet details from your browser.

FAQ

Can I cancel PAGCOR Self Exclusion early?
Not during the first six months: that part is irrevocable. After that, the order runs for the period you chose — 6 months, 1 year or 5 years — and lifts automatically when it ends. PAGCOR's exclusion page has the current rules.
Does PAGCOR exclusion block me from Bigbunny?
The National Database of Restricted Persons binds PAGCOR-licensed and PAGCOR-operated gaming sites. We cannot confirm that Bigbunny is one of them, so also use Bigbunny's own self-exclusion or account closure.
Who can apply for Family Exclusion?
A spouse, child or parent of the player, for 6 months, 1 year or 3 years, with the application form, a photocopy of a government-issued photo ID and two 2x2 photos.
