Responsible Gambling
Gambling is a paid form of entertainment with a built-in cost: over time, the house wins. Playing responsibly means keeping it that way — a cost you choose, inside a budget you set, that never touches money meant for rent, food, school fees or debts. This page gathers the tools that help, with the Philippine ones first: the 21+ rule, account limits, PAGCOR's Self Exclusion and Family Exclusion, and the National Problem Gambling Helpline. None of it requires you to have a "problem" before you use it.
Help is one call away
The National Problem Gambling Helpline (NPGH) is on (02) 8248-9568, free, confidential and open 24/7. Trained para-counsellors and licensed mental-health professionals listen, give guidance and can refer you to treatment. It was launched on 26 May 2026 as a joint project of PAGCOR and the Seagulls Flock Organization, and it replaced PAGCOR's previous responsible-gaming line. It is not an emergency service and not a channel for complaints about a casino; in an emergency, call emergency services.

21+ and age verification
PAGCOR bars anyone under 21 from entering or playing in any gaming establishment and on any online gaming platform. That is higher than the 18+ threshold many other countries use, and it applies to you in the Philippines whatever a site's sign-up form allows. Operators verify age with a government-issued photo ID — PAGCOR has accepted the PhilID and ePhilID at player registration since April 2024 — and payouts stay frozen until that check is complete. Underage gambling is not a grey area: if you are a parent, keep devices with saved casino logins or stored card details out of reach, and talk about gambling ads the way you would about any other risk. Every operator also lists restricted countries in its terms; playing from a place it does not accept can void winnings.
Responsible gambling tools in your account
Most casino accounts, including the kind Bigbunny runs, offer a set of controls in the account settings. Set them on a calm day, before you need them:
- Deposit limit — a cap on how much you can deposit per day, week or month. Lowering it usually works at once; raising it usually takes effect only after a waiting period.
- Loss limit — a cap on net losses over a period, after which play stops.
- Session limit and reality check — a reminder or a hard stop after a set time, showing how long you have played and what you have won or lost.
- Cooling-off / time-out — a break of a day to several weeks during which you cannot log in to play.
- Self-exclusion with the operator — closing the account for a long period or permanently.
Which of these Bigbunny offers for your account, and their exact options, is shown in the account settings or by support. Our self-exclusion guide explains each step.
PAGCOR Self Exclusion and Family Exclusion
For a stop that covers more than one site, PAGCOR runs two programs. Self Exclusion lasts 6 months, 1 year or 5 years; the first six months cannot be revoked, and the order lifts automatically at the end. Family Exclusion can be requested by a spouse, child or parent for 6 months, 1 year or 3 years. Applicants send the form, a photocopy of a government-issued photo ID and two 2x2 photos by e-mail or to the drop box at PAGCOR's MET Live Building; PAGCOR also runs an Online Self-Exclusion Application portal. Excluded persons are entered in the National Database of Restricted Persons (NDRP) and barred from all PAGCOR-licensed and PAGCOR-operated gaming sites, on-site and online.
One limit is important: the NDRP binds sites that PAGCOR licenses or operates. A site that is not on PAGCOR's list is not bound by it. If you exclude yourself, also close or self-exclude any account you hold at other sites — including Bigbunny — through their own tools.
Warning signs
Problems rarely start with a big loss. They start with small shifts: playing longer than planned, depositing again to win back what is gone, borrowing or using money meant for something else, hiding how much you play, feeling restless when you cannot. If two or three of these sound familiar, that is the moment to use a limit, take a break and talk to someone — the NPGH line exists for exactly this, and calling it commits you to nothing.
Helping someone else
If someone close to you is struggling, you can call the NPGH yourself for advice on how to support them. Spouses, children and parents can apply for Family Exclusion with PAGCOR. Practical steps help too: separate household money from personal spending, and avoid lending money that may go to play.
What this site does
bigbunnycasino.biz is an information site for adults. Every guide that links to the operator also explains the age limit and points back here. We do not run promotions of our own and never encourage deposits to recover losses. If anything on the site reads that way to you, tell us through the support page.
